Movie Review of a Movie I Didn't See Yet

There are hundreds of movies I didn't see yet, and I'm pleased to review the one I didn't see most recently.  This afternoon, I didn't see Tom Cruise in "Valkyrie".  So far, I really liked not seeing this blockbuster.  It has one of the best pretenders in America, the Cruise man.  He is one of the best actors in America because that's what the publicist for Paramount Pictures said.  This may be pretense put out there by the publicist...in fact, that would be predictable.  Just as I expected.

The movie posters are really good for a Nazi busting movie.  I like the idea of stopping Hitler, but this movie should have been shown throughout Europe in 1937 or '38.  Then it would have had some real impact.  I guess that's par for the course, though, because I didn't see the movie in time to review it here, and Europe didn't see it in time to take decisive action.  We're all late.

In addition to not seeing the movie, I didn't listen to any sound tracks, either.  I rejected the idea of reading reviews written by other people so I wouldn't be influenced improperly.  Instead, I decided to read reviews by other people who have not yet seen Valkyrie.  I found it very difficult to find reviews by reviewers who have not seen the movie, but luckily I found a movie buff (a cashier at the Dollar Store) who agreed to give me some thoughts about lots of movies she has not seen.  In summary, her comments center around:  "I love all movies I didn't see because there's always the hope for entertainment in the future".

Since I didn't see this movie of historical importance, I can say I loved the absence of being bothered by historical inaccuracy.  Also, any poorly directed scenes and bad Dolby were missed, and that's appreciated.  I'd like to thank all the people who didn't try to sway my opinion about Valkyrie.  That might have influenced my review.  Among all the movies I didn't see, I'd rate Valkyrie at 7.0.

I hope you don't review many more of these thinly disguised money grubbing movies.

Tom Cruise is a real good pretender. First of all, he pretends to be taller than 5'-8". That's not easy unless you carry a six inch platform around with you. Are you kiddin' me?....Hitler being assaulted by a dwarf?

You'll never be able to buy this DVD at the Dollar Store.

If there are some world events or sporting spectaculars you didn't see, I hope you'll report on them. I like your take on the unknown. How about a review on big foot?

I check this blog every day. Am I a moron? No, I don't think so. I think I'm on the front row of something really important. Where else can you read enlightened reviews written by plain uninformed citizens?

Is this hot Jargon?

Doc, what are the best movies you skipped lately?

I must agree with my co-reviewer, but not for reasons that you may think.

Although Tom Cruise is one of my top action movie players, he is set into this "start as a no-name, inexperienced rookie and rise to be the greatest ever" persona.

I think this movie will be no different, but I will try to see this movie.

Pre-viewing rating: 6.0
