He came out of the surf at 2:59 PST. In an interview, it was confirmed that Ed Slater got off course during the "swim leg" of the Honolulu IronMan, and he ended up off Zuma Beach near Malibu, California. Here, two vacationers watch as Slater races to the beach. When he was 25 yards offshore, the errant swimmer shouted "which way is the In n Out?"
