Movie Review: Hancock

Review: Hancock.

I normally disregard the previews of a movie as they always seem to show the only funny or most explosive parts. I was unbelievably stunned when I watched Hancock. Seeing the previews of a drunk who throws a whale out to sea instantly said "Wait for the rental". So I did, but was disappointed after I watched it that I waited that long.

Wow, is a word I normally hold back for movie reviews. This movie is well thought out and very imaginative. It is a story that you think is going one way and half way through, takes a 180 and throws a whole different plot at you. I seriously was in awe. I cannot explain what happened to me during this movie because the plot(s) would be ruined, but this movie goes into my top 25 of all time.
Please, if you don't see movies based on this blog, please, rent Hancock. Or better yet, buy it.

Hancock flies (literally) in at 9.75.

This has to be a message movie. I'd like to have the cutting room snip out some specific scenes. I like the surprise near the end. 9.75 is a big big number. Too much.

"Just put your John Hancock on the botom line"...the amnesia and the NUKE strength don't wash.

I think Hancock should be used in psychiatric group therapy sessions. They could discuss how to say "good job".

Hey, Doc, did you buy Hancock?

Would you have liked this film if Hancock was just a "very strong" regular guy...something like Zampano in "La Strada", or smarter like Bronson in "Death Wish"?

I think this movie is a "gateway" film. It's like a gateway to video games and other super hero movies. Imagine Nintendo's new game "Hancock Block", where Mario battles robbers and tosses whales. Then, he could team up with that chick for level 2.

What's La Strada about?

I've been breathing heavy for some of that "hot jargon" you slugs keep promising.

Please refrain from modifying content. Because, as you said, I am a computer genius and can blow all your posts right out of the water, if you want to go down this road.
