I was biased as I began watching Michael Clayton. I am not that big of a George Clooney fan (after a recommendation to watch 'Oh Brother Where art Thou' (That's 2 hours of my life I will never get back), and the movie seemed like it had mediocre plot. I was surprised.
This movie is full of twists and turns. It is about the big corporate world and the cronies who help keep it from collapsing. Some poeple work for other people who in turn work for others and on up the chain. But there are some who work directly for the head honcho. No one really knows their title, salary or what they really do from the large window office the occupy.
In order to keep BIG corporations from mis stepping, there must be people known as 'Janitors'. Lawyers, cronies, PI's all have specific traits that can be helpful, but when you combine all of them, you get Michael Clayton.
Not to disclose the plot, which did turn out to be very interesting, Clooney portrays his role expertly not letting in to the surprise ending and truth at all.
I give Michael Clayton a solid 8.5. (There was one explosion for .5)

Now, I'm curious. I could have seen this movie, but I was busy with a furry pal. I'm gonna see this because you gave it a good score.
This is better than Crimson Tide?
