July is the month for hopping into the sulkey for a mile around the Elkhart County Fairgrounds track. Thirteen races on the opening day. Can't watch just one! J and the Trip took it all in. Big Jack from South Carolina stayed for the whole card, too. We all had a great time.There's no perimutual betting at the 4-H fair, but Triple Scar had two trifectas (it's official). We'll have to wait till next year for more harness action.
