Movie Review...Shakespeare in Love

I love this movie. I love this story. I love these characters, and I really admire the acting job. I love historical twists on real life, and this is a real corker. Shakespeare in Love has everything except explosions and tech-stuff.

These characters are vulnerable. They're real. All the elements are there. Man, am I glad I saw this movie. Am I overboard?

Who won't like this movie? Bruce Willis won't. Arnold won't. The Doc will pooh pooh it. John Wayne wouldn't even look twice at a part in this poet/actor/fest. I'm givin' it a 9.

A nine for this piece of crap.

Let's review the rules for movie reviews.

1. Explosions: 1 pt.
2. Action plot: 1 pt.
3. Some type of hero: 1 pt.

That leaves this at minimum of 7!

Come On, for the love of all that is holy.

I have noticed a disturbing trend from a prominent reviewer. The movies he or she is reviewing are becoming more and more lacluster chick flicks.

Could spending time at home with no activities planned and a parrot sitting on your shoulder barking orders be cause for a crappy movie trend?

I've been thinking introspective thoughts lately, and I think there's been a tidal wave of bad movies...or

Or I've been dragged under by the undertow of hatred for these recent directors, actors, and apologists. When I give a crummy rating, I may be thinking of Al Gore, Michael Moore, or Mike Myers.

You've gotta get some professional help. Pull out of it!

Just as I suspected...Doc pooh pooh'd it. Someday, the light bulb will flash, and you'll say "eureka!" I could have liked "Shakespeare in Love"!

Sounds like Doc didn't see this one. That makes him a "reviewer in virtuality".
