Borat, Boring, Bogus.

Movie Review...Borat

If you're in control of your own free will, don't go near this movie.

I watched the DVD. I fast forwarded a dozen times in order to avoid a red face. This film is filled with nots. It's not nice. It's not for family. It's not kind. It's not worth a review, but I feel duty bound to let you know about this extraordinarily bowel-centric tripefest. If they were passing out free typhoid germs, I'd take special pains to warn as many people as possible. Same thing.

In America, you and I are free to go see somebody show their hatred, their prejudice, and the ugly side of their private selves. We can watch while good people are defiled by toilet comedy. We can listen to racial and religious slurs, and we can look at incredibly tasteless scenes. We can pay for all this, but you have my guarantee, it's not worth a penny.
This film, it's story, the concept of it's rank humor, and the murder of human integrity, scene by scene leaves a void in the little piece of civility we're attached to. This is not entertainment.
