Looks like a slave labor violation. Was this child free to leave and go home to his momma if he so chose? Or was he coerced to stay and do grandpa's chores? I'd say Zach did a fine job on the floor.
Is that a #9 Hoover Premier mop head? The one with a 50-50 blend of cotton and a proprietary synthetic fiber? I used one of those as a wig during my freshman year at Berkeley.

Wallpaper is out. See if you can teach him how to strip wallpaper, and then roll on a couple coats of Sherwin Williams.
This experience will be valuable when he takes ISTEP, SAT, or the high school Home Ec qualifier.
