Movie Review: Deja VU

Two Nights Ago: I was introduced to a type of movie that has not appeared in a while. One that I actually could not stop watching.

First, my rating of this movie is "8.5". The explosion itself gets a "4" at least. Plus "2" for Denzel Washington (always), plus "2.5" for awesome script and story.

The story rolls along like a high speed police chase (which it kinda is) and with it are twists, turns and unbelievably events that make you say huh and try to figure them out before another one comes at you. This movie is hard to figure out, but eventually you're in your seat just rolling with it, believing whatever it is their trying to show.

When Denzell finally figures out that what they have is a lot more that what they have told him, I especially like the laser pointer, the 4 hours becomes even more enticing.

If there were one thing that I did not like about it though, as I usually say with any movie, was the closure of it. Did he or didn't he remember or understand what was happening? Was he acting when he met Claire at the docks? Did he know what she was going to say in the car?

Again, trying to figure it out is part of what makes it a great movie.
