Review: Inside Man

Patented Denzel. Smart, intuitive, bold, lucky. Inside Man is the bad-good guys and the good-good guys against the bad-bad guy and his sell-out gal Jodie Foster. You’ll try to solve this mystery yourself as the story unravels. This movie will occupy you, and you’ll enjoy it.

Casting: 7. Jodie is too strong in the upswing. She’s too weak in the stretch. All others are on the mark.

Content: 9.5. Riveting. Believable. You’ll wonder if you could have invented the zinger ending.

Character Development: 5. Nobody has a deep character except Denzel, and his character’s depth adds only a little to the smack this story packs.

Scenery: 7. Downtown NYC. Interiors are very good.

Overall, this movie deserves a 7.5, just like all the Denzel clone movies. Go see it.
