Crash Conclusion: I thought the movie was well put together. It tackled a good and touchy subject that kept you interested. It used a nifty technique of blending several stories into one by placing a character or two from each into the path of the others; Hence the name "Crash" Prejudice is a hard topic to sell in a move but I think they do a good job of mixing it up with not only the Black/White topic but others along the same route including the American/Non American genre. I give the overall flavor of the movie, it's presentation and the fact that it kept me glued to it a hefty 8.75/10
Scenery/Realism: Crash takes place in the streets of Los Angeles. I don't know why my co host gives that a 1/10, but I thought the sets were well mixed, with rich and poor lifestyles depicted further adding to the theme. 7/10
Character Depth: I agree with my co host in that the characters were very deep. You felt like you knew each, had feelings for them and that they were believable. 9/10
Music/Audio: Not sure why this is even a topic for rating but my co host gave it a score so I will. I remember nothing about the music and nothing stuck with me regarding it. 1/10
Reality factor: The title says it all. I thought the way that the stories crashed together was really ingenious. Could it happen? Yes. Has it happened? Probably. 8/10
Explosions: None, but enough other tense moments to keep it going.
